VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED
FOR HURRICANE RELIEF

We are presently recruiting volunteers to travel to the Gulf Coast to work with clients from Hurricane Gustav.  These are three week unpaid assignments.  The American Red Cross provides lodging, meals and transportation.  Some hardships are involved - long work hours, possible power outages, housing shortages, etc.  It's the hardest work you will never get paid for, but the emotional rewards are amazing.  We need workers in the health services, mass feeding, sheltering, bulk distribution, client casework and other areas.  Training will be offered before deployment.  Volunteers must pass a criminal background check before deployment.  For further information, call Julie Hines or Jennifer Tarwater at 913-321-6314 or e-mail hinesjul@usa.redcross.org
